Day 2/3 of Silverbacks Camp 2014.

The level of intensity increased on Saturday as a pair of 4-on-4 mini-games, as well as two 5-on-5 games were played between teams Grey, White and Black. The teams hit the ice at 9a.m. and the final game ended at 9p.m. Day 2 saw returning 19-year-old F Nick Josephs of Calgary, Alberta, deliver a huge open ice hit on 20-year-old C Shane Danyluk of Salmon Arm in the final game of the day. The late game also included the first fight of camp, as 18-year-old LW Carson Bolduc of Salmon Arm took on 18-year-old D Chase Priskie of Pembrooke Pines, Florida, in early in the second period of the final game. Head Coach Brandon West is pleased with all of the action.

Josephs

Nick Josephs had four goals and five assists with six penalty minutes in 19 games with the Backs last season. Josephs racked up 37 goals and 38 assists in 33 Junior ‘B’ games last season as well, with Kelowna in the KIJHL.

Kingston

Rhett Kingston is a 16-year-old F who had 22 goals, 11 assists and 32 penalty minutes in 43 games in his second season with the Triple ‘A’ Notre Dame Hounds of the Saskatchewan Midget Triple ‘A’ League last season.
