The Silverbacks and West Kelowna Warriors meet tonight at 7 p.m. at Royal LePage Place in West Kelowna for the 6th meeting of the season and the 2nd of 2015. The ‘Backs have won 6 consecutive games, and have points in their last 7 after a 3-2 victory at home over the Trail Smoke Eaters on Wednesday at the Shaw Centre. The Silverbacks began the year with a 7-1 win at home against the Warriors on Friday, January 2nd and shutout the Penticton Vees 3-0 on Saturday, January 3rd. The Warriors bounced back after losing in Salmon Arm and shutout out the Merritt Centennials 5-0 in West Kelowna on Saturday.
The Warriors lead the season series after 4-3 wins in double-overtime on Friday, October 31st in Salmon Arm and in overtime on Saturday, November 1st in West Kelowna, along with a 7-1 victory on Saturday, December 6th at the Shaw Centre. The Silverbacks shutout the Warriors 3-0 at Royal LePage Place on Friday, December 5th, along with the 7-1 win at the Shaw Centre on Friday, January 2nd.
